About Me
I’m someone who’s curious about people—how they think, what they go through, and how the world around them works. I studied law in Nepal and am now building my legal career in the U.S. I’ve always been drawn to the idea that law isn’t just about rules. It’s about how systems impact each person differently. It shapes people’s experiences in ways that often go unnoticed, and I believe addressing that is key to creating a better, more humane society.
I’ve dipped into a variety of legal spaces including nonprofits, government offices, private law firms, and independent research. Each experience has shaped how I see the law and how I work. I especially enjoy legal research and writing, and I love crafting arguments that are clear, thoughtful, and impactful. I also have a strong interest in immigration law, especially since I’ve personally navigated that process as an international student.
For me, the law is less about technicalities and more about shaping the kind of society we want to live in. I want to be a strong advocate someone who listens, speaks up, and helps build bridges between people and communities.
Outside the work, I find joy in music, movement, and culture. I sing, play the sitar, and thrive in spaces where people come together. I speak Nepali, English, and Hindi, and I hope to use all of who I am to grow into an advocate who leads with empathy and drives meaningful change.
